Li Ruoshan is a professor and doctoral supervisor in the accounting department of School of Management at Fudan University, the first doctorate in auditing in New China and a member of the budget review committee of the Shanghai State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. He is vice president of Shanghai Accounting Association, vice president of Auditing Society, independent director of five large companies. He once served as deputy dean of the School of Management of Fudan University, director of the Accounting Department, Director of the Finance Department, member of the Expert Committee of the Listed Companies of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, consultant of the Accounting Standards Committee of the Ministry of Finance, member of the Shanghai Judicial Accounting Appraisal Committee,  and member of the Academic Committee of the Chinese Accounting Society Committee. He was also the director of Fudan Financial Futures Institute, deputy director of the accounting department of the School of Economics of Xiamen University and associate dean of the School of Economics.

Professor Li completed two National Natural Science Funds, one National Social Science Fund and a Ministry of Education Fund, etc. He also completed a key project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 5 achievements at provincial and municipal levels. In 1991, he was awarded “Chinese Ph.D. Awards Who Made Outstanding Contributions at Work” by the State Council's Academic Degrees Office and the Ministry of Education. In 1993, he received government subsidies from the State Council, which are for experts with outstanding contributions . In 2001, he was awarded the Second Prize of the Shanghai Teaching Achievement Award, the Second Prize of the Excellent Teaching Material of the National College of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education. He was awarded Baosteel’s Special Award of Outstanding Teachers in 2002 and the 2013 Shanghai Master Teacher Award . He was also the national fine course winner. He has studied at famous universities in Belgium, the United States and other parts of the world. He has published more than 200 papers in domestic and foreign magazines and published 15 special textbooks.

Professor Li Ruoshan has a wide range of research fields. Apart from accounting and auditing theories, he has unique insights into the case of listed companies and the relationship between securities and law. Moreover, he has also been interviewed by several television stations, securities and related periodicals. He has been recognized as an expert in listed company accounting and auditing case studies. In addition, Professor Li Ruoshan has also used his knowledge to assist many Chinese and foreign companies in designing and consulting corporate management systems and has received favorable comments from these companies. These work have laid a practical foundation for his undergraduate teaching.
